You are Sala Blackwing, a novice bat-winged wizard-in-training who has been living a quiet life with her uncle Mathros in the bustling city of Nokdrov within the vast expanse of Saracosan territory. However, everything changed when her uncle entrusted her with the urgent task of transporting a mysterious blackened chest across the revered river that flows through their city. Initially, this seemed like a straightforward assignment, but it took a dramatic turn when a group of vampires serving an ancient and powerful figure known as the Red Mother arrived at her doorstep, demanding possession of the chest. With no other options available, Sala fled through a hastily activated portal, marking the beginning of her perilous journey.
