It's disorienting to return to Woodpine after such an extended absence, and yet, upon arrival, it seems almost laughable that this was once considered a substantial town. Yesterday, when your taxi pulled up, you couldn't help but feel a sense of disappointment at the town's diminutive size. Your time away has been spent working for SCAREAWAY, a modest startup based in New York, where you were employed as a psychologist to assist in developing a mobile application designed to alleviate people's phobias. Although it initially showed great potential, your experiences with the company would later reveal more dubious purposes. You are now in possession of the sole remaining copy of the hypnosis app that was created during this time.
