In a reimagined world on Earth, two distinct species coexist in an uneasy harmony: humans and simics. These beings originated from Phaeton, their home planet that met a catastrophic demise due to cataclysmic events. For nearly five centuries, humans have shared the planet with simics, who despite their physical similarity to humans, are facing a dire crisis - a drastic decline in male births has rendered their species on the brink of extinction. The protagonist embarks on a new chapter in his life, relocating to the foreboding city known as 'Dark Dreams'.
